Woljeongsa K-Meditation International Project

 
This project sets the foundation for tackling global youth issues using a Korean meditation approach. Our team toured various institutions, schools, and organizations throughout the eastern United States to engage with local youth, listen to their perspectives, and introduce them to meditation practices. Additionally, we explored opportunities for future collaborations aimed at empowering these young individuals to become global leaders.

The Challenge
Conducting initial research and establishing partnerships with international organizations for the planning of Woljeongsa's 2024 K-Meditation Youth International Exchange Event. 
Visiting and networking with leading global meditation communities.


The Outcome
Visiting one quasi-government agency (Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce), three universities (Harvard, Yale, St. Francis College), and two local cultural institutions (Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden) to showcase K-Meditation and explore opportunities for deeper collaboration with stakeholders.
